Proud to Support our Local Youth

The 11U Dirt Dogs are a competitive team right here out of Central Illinois and have recently over the weekend (sat.) won the Gill Hodges State AABC State Championship that was held here in Springfield. This championship has now advanced the boys to the U tripleSA World Series ...held in Brooklyn New York.

The boys have worked hard this summer and in the Power Ranking have landed 3rd in State and 8th in the Nation. For being 11 and under that is a great achievement. Now they are trying to raise money so they can play in the World Series that they have worked so hard to win their spot in. The boys need to raise 8-10,000 dollars in only ONE WEEK.

The boys leave for NY July 28th and the games begin July 30th.

They are holding 50/50 drawing and will be selling tickets this week. The boys will be working hard earning this money on their own.

When & Where?

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3-8 at the Walmart located on Dirksen

Saturday from 9-1 (or longer) at Sams Club
.

These are all local boys from Springfield, Rochester, Sherman, Illiopolis, Athens, and Petersburg.

The boys would like to thank the Elks Club of Springfield for their donation of $2,000.

To make a donation you can contact Kelly or Rod Groth (or any other players)
at 306-1413 / 306-1412

We appreciate the Community Support!
